UK Sanctions Enforcement.

It has come to our attention that, despite the anti-bias functionality of our technology and its use of publicly available content from platforms like Youtube and Twitter, there is a risk of violating sanctions laws due to the current state of global politics. Therefore, we have made the difficult decision to restrict the front end of Serum to countries that are not currently on the United Kingdom’s sanctions list.

We believe in the importance of freedom of press and holding those in power accountable for their actions. However, as developers and core personnel involved with Catena, we also have families to support and bills to pay. In order to protect our personal lives and ensure compliance with legal obligations, we have made the decision to limit access to Serum.
